Does it seem as though your username is always getting locked out? Does it seem as though you always need to recover or reset your password?
This is probably because one or more of your tablets are using an invalid password for your valid username. When the QuickTapSurvey app tries to login using this invalid password, it is counted as a failed login attempt.
If you enter the wrong username on the website, that will also count as a failed login attempt. After 5 failed login attempts, usernames are locked out and need to be reset. This is a security measure to prevent a brute force attack on passwords of the users in our system and is a standard security best practice.
If you have forgotten your username, go to the QuickTapSurvey login page.
Click Forgot Username? beside the username field.
You will then be prompted to enter the email you used to sign up for your QuickTapSurvey account.
Your username will then be sent to your email.
If you have forgotten the email you used to sign up, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with the possible emails you may have used.
